Jonathan Anderson
Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Andrew Mahyari is the Founder and CEO of AIVault. He holds a B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, as well as an M.Sc. in Statistics from Michigan State University. In 2022, he completed his MBA in Business Administration at the University of Central Florida.
Before founding AIVault, Dr. Mahyari worked at ABB Robotics R&D Center in Silicon Valley and at various university research labs, where he contributed to over $75 million in DoD-funded projects. He is the inventor of eight U.S. patents and brings deep expertise in AI, robotics, and cybersecurity innovation.

Dr. Mehrdad Mahdavi is CTO of AIVault and Dorothy Quiggle Career Development Associate Professor of Computer Science & Engineering at Pennsylvania State University and an Associate Director of the Center for Artificial Intelligence Foundations and Engineered Systems (CAFÉ). He runs the Machine Learning and Optimization Lab, where he works on fundamental problems in computational and theoretical machine learning. He is the recipient of the prestigious NSF CAREER Award.

Nathan Blackthorn is research scientist at AIVault and PhD student in the department of Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology. He served in the United State Army for 17 years.

Kyle Stein is research scientist at AIVault and PhD Candidate in the Intelligent Systems and Robotics (ISR) degree program at the University of West Florida (UWF). He earned his undergraduate degree in natural sciences from the University of South Florida and a master’s degree in mathematical sciences from UWF. He is interested in pursuing mathematical applications related to machine learning methods and aspects of security.

Dr. Arash Raftari is research scientist at AIVault. He completed his PhD the department of Electrical Engineering at University of Central Florida. He received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering and the Master of Business Administration degrees from the Sharif University of Technology.
